Complex concepts organized into clear hierarchical information system designs.
Hero Use Case goals UML diagrams, organizing top-down flow of technical data toward determination of Key Performance Indicators.
Graphically elevated story-telling infographics in Adobe Illustrator.
Branding, UML Diagrams, Wireframes & Mock-ups
Our goal was to define and illustrate the process of interpreting the path toward achieving the Hero Use case outcomes, using data visibility within an interactive dashboard, to clearly illustrate the end-to-end journey toward consumer acceptability and market positioning for new product projected launches.
I used Figjam to white board the complex array of product development data factors into Information system flow charts from input provided by the SOC Performance Engineering Team.
In addition to the samples shown here, I also created narrated E-learnings, product movie trailers, and clips, avatars, icon sets, MS Master Powerpoint decks & presentations, social posts for Meta's internal facebook platform, wiki pages, landing pages, product array site pages, and product illustrations.

BRANDING THE TEAM:
I supported the effort to reinforce the identity and Mission, Vision, Values of Meta's Reality Labs’ AR/VR product development teams by creating internal facing branding, including logos, schema kits, and master Powerpoint presentations and graphic kits.
The design context input given was to combine the value of the POWER TEAM working alongside the PERFORMANCE VALIDATION TEAM toward a common goal, within existing branding aesthetics, and to use creative license to depict team functionality, movement and elements of the idea of kinetic energy.
I kept with the theme of existing circular Reality Labs internal branding to provide for simple lock ups in future use. For inspiration, I tapped my training and knowledge of electrical engineering, gained while previously producing data sheets at Analog Devices Corp for silicon chips. I provided several sketches, which team leaders narrowed down to a final, combining the voltage diagram lines and smaller circles found on circuit board functional block diagrams, with the "power on" icon to show the building up to the initiation of start up.
DESIGNING FOR DASHBOARDS & META'S INTRANET:
Before starting our process of designing dashboards, landing pages, and wikis, the objective was to create UML Diagrams, Whiteboards, Powerpoint Presentations, & infographics that clearly tell the story of the lifecycle of the product development process that would require the allocation of resources along the critical time-frames of Agile development sprints and milestones.
The goal of the Information System Design process was to not only determine critical, highly-technical Key Performance Indicators, but also to create clear, easy to digest stories with impact, to foretell the journey from new product concepts to the final Use Case Consumer outcomes. The research was done from both the perspective of the consumer's desires for the product, and to inform top-level Executives & Leadership, Project Managers, Power and Performance Leadership and Engineers.
The successful launch of never-existing, new-technologies, the allocation of future resources, planning of timetables, and future product arrays depended heavily on our success in presenting stakeholders with a clear snapshot at any given time into the state of development, with the ability to project into the future.
